David Byrne on the Colbert Report
Stephen Colbert makes me laugh like none other. But the fact that his guest last night was David Byrne made him even more awesome. I don’t know what it is about Byrne, but when he sings it brings me to tears, in a good way. I’m not talking about his Talking Heads days, I’m talking more specifically about his newest album Everything that Happens Will Happen Today. David Byrne is not only an amazing performer, songwriter, singer, but he’s also a visual artist. Much credit also needs to be given to Brian Eno, who he has collaborated with on not only this album but many other Talking Heads’ as well.
